“What a wonderful and blessed weekend at the Clayton Church of God way up in the mountains of North Georgia. Saturday night was a powerful service. The Lord’s Spirit was so real right from the beginning. Katie and Stephen sang Stephen’s song “Bloodstained Freedom” from Katie’s new solo CD. That song is getting great reviews as it has a powerful message. It reminds us that our salvation is a free gift to us, but it was bought with a very high price as our Savior gave his life so that we could be free! It was such a joy to see so many young people in the altar. It’s encouraging to see that the youth have a desire for more of God. One young man was Spirit filled, and all of us were blessed and encouraged. The service ended with a special time of consecration as Stephen led us in worship, and it felt like we were standing right in the presence of the Savior.

Four precious souls came forward to be saved on Sunday morning. What an awesome way to celebrate Homecoming Day! Pastor Alexander obviously has a pastor’s heart. His care and concern for his people was so evident as he cried and rejoiced with each of them as they prayed in the altar.

We were thrilled to see so many friends from all around the area, and we had such a great time of fellowship with old friends and new friends as well. We met Elton and Gwen Hagan who were in town from Lakeland, Florida. We have mutual friends, and although we just met them it seems like we have know each other forever. It is so wonderful being a part of God’s family and enjoying that kindred Spirit with brothers and sisters in Christ. It was a weekend we will long remember.”
