January 24, 2015 Celebrating Ray Branham’s 89th Birthday

Posted by on Jan 24, 2015 in Blog

“Last year we had such a good time celebrating Ray Branham’s 88th birthday so we decided to do it again this year. We had an old fashioned singing convention at the Prospect Church of God in Cleveland, Tennessee. It was a full house with friends from everywhere. One of the highlights of the evening was the choir. They worshipped and rejoiced as they sang from the old Red Back Hymnal. Not only did we celebrate his birthday, but we also celebrated the fact that 2015 makes 60 years that he has served as a credentialed minister in the Church of God. He was presented with a beautiful plaque recognizing those 60 years of ministry. Dr. Tim Hill, General Director of World Missions for the Church of God sent a DVD with special birthday greetings. While looking at the past – we also looked to the future. Ray Branham has 3 grand children, and all 3 of them were very active in the service – singing and playing instruments. Tyler, Katie and Caleb are following in his footsteps as they serve the Lord and work in their own ministries. After the singing we had a wonderful time of fellowship in the church fellowship hall. It was truly a great evening!”
